Judy Begley has practiced in the workplace law field for her entire career. She has extensive experience in labour, employment and administrative law, including human tights, workers’ compensation, Canada Pension Plan, Employment Standards, short and long term disability claims and wrongful dismissal matters. She is also an experienced independent workplace investigator and mediator. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on workplace legal issues.
Judy has worked at various times with employers, unions and employees, as an advisor, litigator, investigator and negotiator. She brings a unique perspective on the law and on how to navigate through the often complex array of workplace issues and stakeholders. Judy is a member of the Competence Committee of the Law Society of New Brunswick and of ADR Atlantic. She is the President of the Canadian Association for the Practical Study of Law in Education, an organization that awarded her an honourary life membership in April 2014 for outstanding contribution to the Association. She has been called to the Bar in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador, and Ontario.
